Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Plumbing and Fire Protection Systems Engineer to join our team at AKF Group LLC. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing plumbing and fire protection systems, including calculations and specifications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop plumbing and fire protection systems, including calculations and specifications
  • Examine field conditions to support project development and completion
  • Develop project specifications and attend meetings with architects and owners
  • Represent the company in a professional manner and assist in business development
  • Enhance the firm's reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing internal and external client requests
  • Update job knowledge and technical expertise by participating in educational opportunities and reading professional publications

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited engineering program
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience with a consulting engineering firm
  • Comprehensive knowledge and interpretation of code compliance requirements and industry standards
  • Possess clear and concise verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a highly collaborative team environment
