Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilizes continuous improvement strategies to elevate manufacturing quality, reliability, and cost efficiency.
  • Conducts research, design, and development of manufacturing processes, focusing on production flow, assembly techniques, and production machinery.
  • Designs, develops, tests, or sources various tools, machinery, and equipment while providing cost justification for proposed manufacturing methods.
  • Performs thorough product/process analysis aimed at cost reduction, quality enhancement, and efficiency gains.
  • Maintains product lines by implementing modifications to enhance manufacturability and boost production yield.
  • Stays updated on advanced manufacturing techniques and equipment to drive cost reductions through improved efficiencies.

Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Proficient in solid modeling, AutoCAD engineering design software, and knowledgeable about engineering materials and their properties.
  • Familiarity with ECR / ECN engineering processes.
  • Understanding of business and management principles related to strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership techniques, production methods, and coordination of personnel and resources.
  • Knowledgeable about circuit boards, processors, chips, electronic equipment, and computer hardware and software, including applications and programming.
  • Skilled in design techniques, tools, and principles involved in producing precise technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models.
  • Comprehension of the practical application of engineering science and technology, including the application of principles, techniques, procedures, and equipment in the design and production of various goods and services.

Educational Background and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field (mechanical/electrical preferred); 5+ years of relevant manufacturing experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Prior experience with application and testing methods for load cell/sensor specifications is highly desirable.
