Job Summary:

Graphic Packaging International is seeking a highly skilled ServiceNow Architect to serve as a subject matter expert across multiple projects and modules. This technical, hands-on role will lead the design and implementation of multiple components within ServiceNow, while also serving as the Lead Developer and Technical Consultant for the ServiceNow team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead in the design and implementation of multiple components within ServiceNow
  • Act as central expert for ServiceNow products
  • Analyze and define customer requirements
  • Design and develop reusable software modules that meet GPI requirements while upholding high standards of reliability, security, maintainability, and performance
  • Assist in defining product technical architecture
  • Document designs for coding by other developers
  • Make accurate development effort estimates to assist management in project and resource planning
  • Lead peer reviews for designs, code, and other work products
  • Stay up to date with ServiceNow line of products
  • Design features as required by users for implementation
  • Fully document all code or architecture, and update any relevant documentation
  • Develop, document, test any required integrations with the CMDB
  • Provide high-touch service to stakeholders to ensure both business and technology delivery teams are prepared to promote initiatives to team backlogs
  • Facilitate priority discussions and alignment between business and technology and ensure priorities are reflected in roadmap plans
  • Aide in the design and development of standard portfolio reporting to facilitate awareness and transparency to portfolio performance
  • Successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously
  • Serve as a ServiceNow subject matter expert for Company and internal ServiceNow development team
  • Providing high-level estimates on work breakdown structures for ServiceNow implementations and/or enhancements
  • Working with the ServiceNow development team to demo potential solutions as required
  • Identify opportunities to improve and streamline the overall platform

Requirements:

  • Experience with full lifecycle ServiceNow implementations
  • Understanding of the key technologies relevant to the ServiceNow integration solutions including: SSO, SAML, SSL, Web Services, LDAP, JDBC, ODBC, REST, SCP, FTPS
  • Understanding of software, on-prem, and cloud infrastructure engineering environments
  • Advanced ServiceNow Platform Development skills
  • Advanced ServiceNow Application Development skills
  • Ability to create and articulate a platform strategy
  • In-Depth Knowledge of Technical Implementation of various ServiceNow modules (ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, CMDB, HRSD etc.)
  • Solid understanding of discovery service mapping
  • Basic understanding of CSDM
  • Ability to address ambiguity and drive consensus across multiple stakeholders
  • Ability to work with business leaders and enable strategy execution
  • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator
  • ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist
  • ITIL Foundation Certification Preferred
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field Preferred
  • ServiceNow Architect, 5 Years' Experience Preferred, Technical Implementation Required
