Executive Chef

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to lead our culinary team at DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Grand Rapids Airport. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for creating innovative menus, supervising food preparation, and ensuring exceptional dining experiences for our guests.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement menus that showcase our hotel's culinary expertise and appeal to a wide range of tastes and dietary preferences
- Supervise and mentor a team of cooks and kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and presentation
- Collaborate with our purchasing team to source high-quality ingredients and manage food costs
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Work closely with our front-of-house team to ensure seamless service and exceptional guest experiences
- Minimum 7-8 years of culinary experience, with a proven track record of success in a similar role
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
- Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures, as well as local health regulations
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on attention to detail and quality
- High school diploma or equivalent GED certificate, with a culinary degree or certification preferred
