Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Operational Technology Engineer to join our team at Abbott Laboratories. As a key member of our manufacturing operations team, you will be responsible for supporting and maintaining our manufacturing operation data systems and servers, including hardware and software for our Operational Technology (OT) systems.
Key Responsibilities- Support and maintain manufacturing operation data systems and servers, including hardware and software for OT systems such as OSIsoft PI, Ignition, ZPI data servers, DeltaV, iFix, and FactoryTalk AssetCentre.
- Coordinate with IT support team as needed to maintain secured OT infrastructure for manufacturing operation and actively participate in Cyber Security compliance initiatives, including disaster recovery, asset security, patching, and malware prevention.
- Provide Manufacturing Human Machine Interfaces (HMI) architecture support and work with Division teams to deploy manufacturing operations data systems as part of cross-functional capital project delivery teams.
- Coordinate with internal quality and process authority organizations to ensure regulatory compliance and maintain solutions for Critical Process Parameters Monitoring and Process Data Reporting.
- Resolve underlying problems, identify customer/client needs, and propose solutions to address them, making alterations in products or services to better meet customer needs.
- Provide on-call support of plant OT systems.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering, or a related discipline with a desired 5+ years of significant IT, engineering, and/or operational experience.
- 5 or more years in a related field and/or industry.
- Experience with Windows Server Operating Systems Management and Troubleshooting.
- Experience with manufacturing OT/IT systems, network architecture, and cybersecurity.
- Experience with OSISoft products.
- Experience with Rockwell Automation FactoryTalk Industrial Automation platform and software.
- Experience with Emerson DeltaV or other Distributed Control Systems.
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and basic database management processes and procedures.

The base pay for this position is $72,700.00 – $145,000.00, with specific locations having varying pay ranges.
