Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Operational Technology Engineer to join our team at Abbott Laboratories. As an Operational Technology Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting and maintaining manufacturing operation data systems and servers, including hardware and software for the Columbus Plant Operational Technology (OT) systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support and maintain manufacturing operation data systems and servers, including hardware and software for the Columbus Plant Operational Technology (OT) systems.
  • Coordinate with IT support team as needed to maintain secured OT infrastructure for manufacturing operation and actively participate in Cyber Security compliance initiatives.
  • Provide Manufacturing Human Machine Interfaces (HMI) architecture support.
  • Work with Division teams to deploy manufacturing operations data systems as part of cross-functional capital project delivery team.
  • Coordinate with internal quality and process authority organizations to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Maintain solutions for Critical Process Parameters Monitoring and Process Data Reporting.
  • Resolve underlying problems and propose solutions to address them.
  • Provide on-call support of plant OT systems.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering, or a related discipline with a desired 5+ years of significant IT, engineering, and/or operational experience.
  • 5 or more years in a related field and/or industry.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Windows Server Operating Systems Management and Troubleshooting.
  • Experience with manufacturing OT / IT systems, network architecture, and cybersecurity.
  • Experience with OSISoft products.
  • Experience with Rockwell Automation FactoryTalk Industrial Automation platform and software.
  • Experience with Emerson DeltaV or other Distributed Control Systems.
  • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and basic database management processes and procedures.
