Business Operations Specialist

Optima Chemical LLC is looking for a Business Operations Specialist to join their team in Douglas, GA.
The estimated salary for this position is $58,000 - $68,000 per year.
This role involves managing various business operations, including accounting, finance, and administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee accounts payable and ensure timely and accurate payment processing.
- Investigate and resolve issues related to invoice processing, purchase orders, and receipts.
- Collaborate with the purchasing department to facilitate monthly status reports and closings.
- Reconcile vendor account statements and unbilled receipts.
- Process weekly payments in accordance with company policy.
- Maintain general ledger records and supporting documentation for transactions and account balances.
- Reconcile all cash accounts.
- Enter journal entries and maintain schedules of prepaid insurance and prepaid assets.
- Prepare and submit financial statements as required.
- Support budget preparation and provide assistance with the annual audit and tax filings.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
- 1-4 years of accounting experience.
- Excellent computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office software.
- Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
