Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse III to join our team at the Texas Department of Aging & Disability Services. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and leadership to our nursing staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assessment and Planning: Conduct thorough assessments of patients' health and mental status, and develop individualized care plans to meet their unique needs.
  • Leadership and Supervision: Provide guidance and oversight to nursing staff, ensuring that they have the necessary resources and support to deliver high-quality patient care.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Foster open and effective communication with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination and transitions.
  • Quality Improvement: Participate in quality improvement initiatives to identify areas for improvement and implement evidence-based practices to enhance patient outcomes.
  • Education and Training: Stay up-to-date with the latest nursing practices and technologies, and share knowledge with colleagues to promote professional growth and development.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in a healthcare setting, with a focus on patient care and leadership.
  • Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Certifications: Current RN licensure and BLS certification.
