Trinity Health is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician II to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for decontaminating instruments, assembling trays and/or equipment, and sterilizing instrument trays for prescribed patient procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Decontaminate instruments and equipment to ensure they are free from any contaminants.
- Assemble trays and/or equipment for specific surgical procedures.
- Sterilize instrument trays for prescribed patient procedures.
- Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure the highest level of patient care.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Certification as a Certified Sterile Processing Technician (CRCST) or International Association of Healthcare Central Service Materiel Management (IAHCSMM) preferred.
- One year of previous job-related experience preferred.
