This position operates under the guidance of the Dining Room Manager or Director of Food Services, focusing on delivering high-quality service during meal times and adhering to the dietary needs of our community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote a welcoming and positive atmosphere in the dining area, guided by the Dining Room Manager or Director of Food Services.
  • Efficiently take and serve food and beverage orders, while ensuring tables are cleared, cleaned, sanitized, and reset promptly.
  • Strive to enhance resident satisfaction by addressing any dining concerns proactively during the meal service.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization within the dining environment.
  • Encourage collaboration among team members, demonstrating initiative to assist others and positively impacting residents and visitors.
  • Perform additional tasks as required to support the dining services team.

Qualifications:

  • A genuine compassion for and desire to work with seniors.
  • A High School Diploma or equivalent is required; prior experience in food service or customer service is preferred.
  • Possession of a Food Handlers Permit, as mandated by state regulations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with strong interpersonal and community engagement abilities.
  • Ability to successfully complete a criminal background check and drug screening.
