Job Summary

The Assistant Branch Manager Floater will assist the Business Acquisition Manager with all aspects of branch operations and sales. This role requires a highly motivated and results-driven individual who can work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will assume supervisory responsibilities in assigned branches and will be responsible for maximizing customer satisfaction and promoting a professional work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assume operational responsibilities of Branch Manager in their absence.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and maximize customer satisfaction.
  • Promote a professional and productive work environment.
  • Participate in branch activities planned by Branch Management.
  • Practice and display behaviors focused on achieving Branch Team goals.
  • Ensure staff awareness of Branch Activity Calendar and Incentive Plan.
  • Comply with all Bank Secrecy Act regulations and Customer Identification Program requirements.
  • Promote security and safety of all employees and customers.
  • Maintain knowledge of all bank products and services.
  • Assist in training and supervision of branch personnel.
  • Remain current on all bank policies and procedures.
  • Assist Branch Manager in ensuring compliance with all state and federal rules, regulations, and laws.
  • Preserve security of all Bank assets.
  • Responsible for opening and closing various branches as assigned.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Supervise vault operations and other cash drawer operations.
  • Assist branch management with monthly audits, certifications, proofs, reconciliations, filing, scanning, and other duties as assigned.
  • Review branch reports as outlined in Policy and Procedures.
  • Maintain confidentiality of customer information.
  • Knowledge and understanding of Human Resource policies.
  • Ability to perform duties of a Customer Service Representative and Teller.
  • Assist in other areas of the bank/branch as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma; college degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years banking experience with an emphasis on supervisory, sales, and customer service skills.
  • Effective communication, interpersonal, customer service, and sales skills.
  • Basic management and human resource skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours and travel to various branch locations as staffing requires.
