Key Responsibilities of a Branch Manager

As a Branch Manager, you will report to the Branch Operations Manager and will be responsible for overseeing all daily operations of the branch. Your role will include performing all Member Service Representative (MSR) functions and addressing complex member inquiries. Key supervisory duties involve:

  • Engaging in employee training and development initiatives.
  • Conducting performance evaluations and implementing necessary disciplinary actions.
  • Maintaining a respectful and controlled environment at all times.

You will strive to meet or exceed operational expectations through your leadership and by motivating your team to embody EDIFI's core values: Respect, Accessibility, Integrity, Security, and Exceptional Service (RAISE).

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED is required; an Associate or Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a financial institution, preferably in a supervisory role.
  • Bilingual candidates (English and Spanish) are highly desired.
  • Strong decision-making and critical thinking skills are essential.
  • Excellent organizational abilities and efficiency are required.
  • Proficiency in PC applications, including Word and Outlook; knowledge of MS Excel and banking software is advantageous.
  • A valid driver's license with no major violations is necessary.
  • NMLS and Notary Public licenses are required.

Successful Branch Managers exhibit strong leadership, team-building, analytical, and strategic planning skills. They are effective coaches and mentors, ensuring their team members are skilled, knowledgeable, and engaged.

Branch Managers should possess a friendly demeanor, a strong sense of integrity, and the ability to build trust with members, colleagues, and vendors.

This is a full-time salaried position requiring 40+ hours per week, including rotating Saturdays. Flexibility is essential. EDIFI offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, a 401(k) plan with company match, paid time off, paid holidays, and credit union membership.
