About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Surgical Technologist to join our team at CommonSpirit Health Mountain Region. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our surgical services, providing exceptional patient care, and working collaboratively with our surgical team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the surgical team during operative procedures, arranging and inventorying sterile set-ups, and passing instruments to surgeons and nurses as needed.
  • Prepare and move patients, sterilize and clean instruments, equipment, and rooms.
  • Scrub on all cases, working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Assist with room turnover and restocking for next day's cases.
  • Maintain a sterile field during procedures and hand instruments to surgeons, anticipating their needs.
Requirements
  • One year of experience in a surgical setting, preferably in a specialty field.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to learn new software.
  • Completion of an approved Surgical Technician program and current registration with the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA) as a surgical technologist.
  • Certification in Surgical Technology from the National Board Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) or Certification as a Tech in Surgery (CST) from the National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT).

We offer a competitive salary range of $26.49 to $45.08 per hour, depending on experience.
