Certified Surgical Technologist PRN

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Surgical Technologist to join our team at CommonSpirit Health Mountain Region. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our surgical services, working closely with our surgical team to provide exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the surgical team during operative procedures, arranging and inventorying sterile set-ups, and passing instruments to surgeons and nurses as needed.
- Prepare and move patients, sterilize and clean instruments, equipment, and rooms.
- Scrub on all cases, working in a fast-paced environment and maintaining a high level of focus and attention to detail.
- Assist with room turnover and restocking for next day's cases, ensuring a seamless transition between procedures.
- Maintain a sterile field during procedures, anticipating the needs of the surgical team and providing exceptional support.
- Basic computer skills required.
- One year of experience in a surgical setting preferred.
- Experience in a specialty field preferred.
- HS Diploma/GED required.
- Completion of an approved Surgical Technician program required.
- BLS from the American Heart Association required.
- Current registration with the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA) as a surgical technologist for associates working in Colorado.
