About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Surgical Technologist to join our team at CommonSpirit Health Mountain Region. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our surgical department, working closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nurses to provide exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Assist surgical team during operative procedures by arranging and inventorying sterile set-up of instruments, equipment, and supplies.
  • Pass items to surgeons and nurses as needed, maintaining a sterile field during procedures.
  • Assist in preparing and moving patients, sterilizing and cleaning instruments, equipment, and rooms.
  • Scrub on all cases, working in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and a focus on patient safety.
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure efficient and effective care, maintaining open communication and a positive attitude.
Requirements
  • One year of experience in a surgical setting, preferably in a specialty field.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to learn new software and systems.
  • High School Diploma or GED required, with completion of an approved Surgical Technician program preferred.
  • Current registration as a Surgical Tech is required, unless performing Surgical Tech functions within the scope of another verified Colorado license, certification, or registration.
