Job Title: Residential Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at The Opportunity Alliance. As a key member of our Adult Residential Treatment Team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our clients.

About the Role:
  • Provide direct nursing care to clients in our residential program, within the scope of your practice and as medically ordered.
  • Support integrated physical health care, assist with admission and discharge, and provide care transition planning and coordination.
  • Contribute to the achievement of positive client outcomes by working closely with our Residential Director and developing wellness programming.
  • Provide training, teaching, coaching, instruction, consultation, and health education for residential staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
  • Licensed practical nurse holding a valid license to practice nursing in the State of Maine, with two to four years of experience, preferably in clinical practice in mental health nursing.
  • Registered Nurse holding a valid license to practice nursing in the State of Maine, with two to four years of experience, preferably in clinical practice in mental health nursing.
  • Previous training experience in care coordination and/or integrated care is preferred.
  • Experience within the Mental Health and Substance Use delivery system and/or direct service is preferred.
  • Advanced computer skills in programs including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint are required.
  • Strong written and oral communication and interpersonal skills are required.
  • Strong attention to detail is required.
  • Experience in team or multidisciplinary approach to service planning is preferred.
