Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Social Worker to join our team as a Utilization Review Specialist. In this role, you will work closely with patients and their families to provide comprehensive social assessments, individual and family counseling, group therapy, and discharge planning.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough social assessments to identify patient needs and develop effective care plans.
  • Provide individual and family counseling to address mental health concerns and promote healthy coping mechanisms.
  • Lead group therapy sessions to foster a supportive environment for patients and their families.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement discharge plans that meet patient needs.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in social work and utilization review.
Qualifications
  • Master's Degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
  • Current licensure as a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the State of Texas.
  • Experience working in a healthcare or psychiatric setting preferred.
  • Bilingual skills in Spanish a plus.
