Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Research Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team at IQVIA. As a key member of our clinical research team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and effective conduct of clinical research studies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safeguard the well-being of research subjects in a medical capacity and ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Review study protocols, case report forms, and other study documents to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Participate in project meetings with the project team to discuss study progress and address any issues that may arise.
  • Provide medical assessments, interpretations, and significance of various tests and procedures, including vital signs, ECGs, telemetry, spirometry, medical history, physical exams, and laboratory test results.
  • Plan logistical activities for procedures as per protocol and assist with the creation of volunteer instructions.
  • Help identify and obtain required supplies and equipment and troubleshoot study issues.
  • Participate in huddles to ensure daily tasks are assigned to team members and executed to expected standards.
  • Assist with data quality checking and query resolution to ensure data collected on study volunteers adheres to study protocol and quality control for content accuracy and completeness.
  • Support the recruitment of volunteers for inclusion in study based on pre-determined criteria and orientate volunteers to the study and the unit.
  • Perform a variety of complex clinical procedures on subjects, including physical exams, ECGs, sample collection, spirometry, vital signs, cannulation, and cardiac telemetry monitoring.
  • Collect, record, and report clinical data and findings appropriately in case report forms (CRFs) and collaborate closely with study investigator to inform on relevant adverse events and serious adverse events.
Requirements
  • Other (APRN/NP) Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (PA-C) Required
  • Ability to pay close attention to detail
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, managers, and clients
  • Current NP license/Certification or Physician Assistant (PA-C) in the state, country, or region in which the site resides
