Job Title: Clinical Research Physician

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Research Physician to join our team at Wake Research, an M3 company. As a Clinical Research Physician, you will play a critical role in the conduct of clinical trials, ensuring the safety and well-being of participants and contributing to the advancement of medical knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide clinical expertise in the conduct of clinical trials, including assessing and following the safety of participants
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external medical professionals and local opinion leaders
  • Collaborate with colleagues in Regulatory Affairs, Clinical Operations, and Patient Engagement to ensure successful execution of research protocols
  • Lead and oversee a team of researchers and clinical staff involved in the conduct of clinical trials
  • Ensure compliance with FDA regulations and GCP guidelines
  • Evaluate study participant eligibility and perform physical exams and assessments as required
  • Complete industry-required training and stay up-to-date with the latest clinical research developments
Requirements:
  • 10 years' post-training experience as a physician in endocrinology
  • Current licensure to practice medicine in the state of hire with no history of license suspension or debarment
  • Advanced knowledge of treatment and drug interactions
  • Strong leadership qualities and ability to build rapport with patients and biopharmaceutical sponsors
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Compensation:

Compensation for this role is $120-$145/hour.
