Surgical Technician Part Time Days

We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technician to join our team at DMC Sinai-Grace Hospital. As a Surgical Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our operating rooms and providing exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Assist surgeons and other medical staff during surgical procedures, maintaining a sterile environment and handling instruments and equipment.
- Prepare patients for surgery, verifying their identity and ensuring they are properly positioned and prepared for the procedure.
- Transport patients to and from the operating room, maintaining a safe and comfortable environment.
- Assist with the cleaning and sterilization of equipment and instruments, ensuring a safe and efficient workflow.
- Participate in departmental in-service education programs, staying up-to-date on the latest techniques and technologies.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; equivalent combination of training and/or experience may be considered.
- Certification by the Association of Surgical Technologists highly desirable.
- One to two years of experience as a surgical technician preferred.
This is a part-time day shift position, requiring the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of physical stamina.
