As a key member of our financial operations team, you will be responsible for managing and developing our billing and project accounting processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting, and coordinating with project managers and clients to resolve billing issues.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Management: Develop and implement financial management processes, procedures, and reporting tools to improve project accountability and profitability.
- Billing and Invoicing: Compile billing data, prepare invoices, and ensure timely and accurate billing and financial reporting.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Monitor compliance with project-related contractual and insurance requirements, and coordinate with project managers and clients to resolve billing issues.
- Financial Reporting and Analysis: Develop and maintain interactive project reporting on dashboards, and analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct quality audits in billing to ensure best practices and timely account resolutions.
- Experience: Minimum ten (10) years of experience in a related field, preferably in a professional services industry.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a closely related field.
- Skills: Excellent organizational and analytical skills, ability to multi-task, and systems knowledge of Deltek, Unanet, Sage, or similar software.
