About the Job

We are seeking an experienced Retail Operations Manager to join our team at Michaels Stores. As a Retail Operations Manager - Customer First, you will be responsible for leading our front-end operations and ensuring that every customer interaction is exceptional.

About the Role

  • Lead the customer experience team to achieve outstanding results in customer satisfaction, sales growth, and store recovery.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to drive customer engagement, loyalty, and retention.
  • Collaborate with the Store Manager to create a positive and inclusive store environment that fosters creativity and innovation.
  • Maintain high standards of customer service, ensuring that every customer feels valued and supported.
  • Assist with cash reconciliation and bank deposits, as well as inventory processes, including Return to Vendor (RTV) and Advance Shipping Notice (ASN) activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
  • 3+ years of retail management experience, preferably in a customer-facing role.
  • Proven track record of driving sales growth, improving customer satisfaction, and leading high-performing teams.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

  • Total Base Pay Range: $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
