About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Ochsner Health System. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for assessing patients and performing routine radiographic procedures in accordance with prescribed safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities
  • Verify physician orders and procedures to ensure accuracy
  • Utilize radiology information systems to facilitate patient care
  • Explain procedures to patients to ensure understanding
  • Operate imaging equipment to complete procedures according to protocol
  • Review patient images to ensure diagnostic quality standards
  • Perform quality control procedures and notify/remediate as necessary
  • Assist with departmental operations, including inventory, staff schedules, and equipment maintenance
Requirements
  • Completion of a Radiologic Technology program in an AMA-approved school
  • Registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
  • Current license in the state of practice
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
