Job Overview:
The CNC Lathe Programmer will be tasked with the programming, setup, and operation of CNC Turning Machines. This role is critical in ensuring that all duties and responsibilities are adhered to as outlined below.

At Technimark, every associate is expected to understand and implement our Quality Policy to meet and exceed our Quality Objectives. All team members are required to complete the training outlined in the Training Matrix and leverage their skills and knowledge to fulfill their responsibilities while ensuring high-quality standards.
Core Competencies:
Candidates should possess a high school diploma or GED, along with trade school training and/or a minimum of 6 years of experience in mold making and machining.
Essential skills include:
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Basic computer proficiency.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Surf-Cam or similar CAD/CAM software.
- Familiarity with Fanuc and Heidenhain controls.
- Proficiency in turning hardened tool steels.
- Ability to maintain tight tolerances on injection mold components.
- Experience in programming and machining complex 3D surfaces.
- Knowledge of live tooling is advantageous but not mandatory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Program CNC Lathe for new projects and repair tasks.
- Set up CNC Lathe post-programming.
- Remove completed components and prepare new components for machining.
- Ensure the quality and precision of machined parts.
- Complete job assignments promptly.
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by adhering to safety protocols.
- Keep the workspace clean and assist with machine maintenance as necessary.
- Disassemble, clean, and assist in assembly when required.
- Additional duties may be assigned based on shop workload.
