CNC Machinist Specialist

At Technimark LLC, we are seeking a highly skilled CNC Lathe Programmer/Machining Specialist to join our team. This individual will be responsible for programming, setting up, and operating CNC Turning Machines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Program CNC Lathe for machining new jobs and repair work.
• Set up CNC Lathe after programming.
• Remove finished components and install new components for machining.
• Ensure quality and accuracy of machined parts.
• Complete job assignments in a timely manner.
• Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy environment by adhering to company safety standards.
• Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work environment and assisting in machine maintenance as needed.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Trade school and/or 6+ years mold making and machining experience.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer experience.

Preferred Knowledge and Skills:

• Experience programming in Surf-Cam or equivalent CAD/CAM software.
• Experience with Fanuc and Heidenhain controls.
• Experience turning hardened tool steels.
• Capable of holding tight tolerances on injection mold components.
• Capable of programming and machining complex 3D surfaces.
• Experience with live tooling is preferred but not required.
