We are seeking a highly skilled Assembly Technician to join our team at Crystal Tractor of Hastings. As an Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for the assembly of various products, including tractors, lawn mowers, ATVs, and UTVs. You will work closely with our team to ensure that all products are assembled to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble tractors and other equipment according to manufacturer specifications
  • Complete online parts orders to finish tractor builds
  • Determine problems and figure out solutions
  • Operate a forklift to move material around in the assembly area
  • Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with the dealership
  • Test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
  • Diagnose, maintain, and repair agriculture equipment
  • Communicate directly with the Service Manager to inform customers of any additional service needed
  • Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
  • Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Diesel mechanic experience preferred
  • Service Technician experience required
  • Dexterity, requiring a steady hand and excellent hand-eye coordination
  • Mechanical and troubleshooting skills and ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
  • Excellent customer service skills and basic computer competencies
  • Ability to work weekends
  • Positive, friendly attitude, along with an eagerness to improve
  • Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures, and specifications
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Willingness to submit to pre-employment drug screen and background check
