Civil Carpenter

We are seeking a skilled Civil Carpenter to join our team at Primoris Industrial & Civil. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for constructing, erecting, installing, fabricating, dismantling, and repairing structures, formwork, and fixtures of wood, metal forms, and associated accessories.

• Comply with company and client safety rules, as well as OSHA standards
• Read and interpret drawings to ensure accurate construction
• Cut and shape materials, and join them with nails, screws, bolts, or glue to create precise structures
• Check completed units to ensure they are level, square, plumb, the right size, shape, and location
• Build and assemble concrete forms to support construction projects
• Construct and assemble shelters for welding and other weather-sensitive work
• Attend required safety and tailgate/toolbox meetings to ensure a safe working environment
• Perform other duties as assigned by management

• One to four years of experience as an Apprentice or Journeyman Carpenter
• Ability to complete work accurately and follow all safety rules
• Familiarity with relevant hand and power tools
• Able to work well in a team environment and communicate effectively
• Organized and self-motivated with a strong attention to detail
