Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducts thorough analysis and strategic planning to balance capital and operational budgets.
  • Evaluates project and portfolio budget forecasts and expenditures.
  • Generates financial reporting reconciliations and summary reports, along with detailed breakdowns.
  • Suggests adjustments to projections based on resource utilization rates, accounting reclassifications, and variances in planned funding or hours.
  • Supports Managers in the development, updates, and monitoring of budget and resource forecasts.
  • Communicates information promptly and at the appropriate level of detail for the intended audience.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in budget creation and management.
  • Outstanding analytical capabilities with advanced proficiency in Excel for data analysis and complex calculations.
  • Expertise in budget forecasting and a solid understanding of accounting principles.
  • Experience in reconciling payments to identify discrepancies between paid and unpaid amounts.
  • Familiarity with accounting regulations, specifically CAPEX versus OPEX.

Compensation:

The compensation for this position ranges from $55/hr to $60/hr. The exact salary may vary based on various factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will commence on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as options for HSA, FSA, and DCFSA accounts, along with access to a 401k retirement plan with employer matching. Employees in this position are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as mandated by applicable law.
