Job Title: Corporate Accountant

This is a key role within the Accounting team at NFI Industries, responsible for handling general accounting functions, including accounts payable review, accounts receivable review, and general ledger management. The successful candidate will work closely with the Accounting Manager and/or Controller to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.

Responsibilities:
  • Review and analyze monthly profit center income statements to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Reconcile balance sheet accounts and identify potential process changes to improve financial operations.
  • Assist in the monthly close process, interacting with various departments and management levels to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Prepare and present financial reports to management and operations teams.
  • Enter journal entries, coordinate accounts payable and accounts receivable, and manage general ledger activities.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with operation management teams.
  • Participate in external audits and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Assist with special projects and duties as assigned by the Accounting Manager and/or Controller.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Science in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • At least 2-5 years of experience in accounting and finance, with a focus on general ledger management.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Access, with experience in Lawson Accounting Software/CSF a plus.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Experience with financial reporting and analysis, with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.

NFI Industries is an equal opportunity employer and welcomes applications from qualified candidates. We offer a competitive salary range of $67,000 to $90,000, plus an annual discretionary bonus of up to 3%. We are committed to providing a safe and inclusive work environment for all employees.
