The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless functionality of our IT infrastructure across numerous retail outlets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver first-tier technical assistance to retail personnel, addressing hardware, software, and network challenges.
  • Set up, configure, and oversee computer systems, point-of-sale systems, and various IT apparatus.
  • Effectively manage and resolve help desk inquiries promptly, minimizing interruptions to retail and headquarters activities.
  • Work in conjunction with the IT department to enforce security measures and safeguard data integrity.
  • Conduct regular maintenance and updates on all IT systems and devices.
  • Document technical processes and provide necessary training to retail staff.
  • Keep abreast of emerging IT trends and technologies to enhance support methodologies.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree in Information Technology or a related discipline; Bachelor's degree is advantageous.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in IT support, ideally within a corporate setting.
  • Expertise in diagnosing hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Solid grasp of network protocols and security practices.
  • Outstanding communication and customer service abilities.
  • Capability to work autonomously and juggle multiple responsibilities effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or equivalent.
  • Familiarity with cloud services and platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
  • Willingness to provide off-hours urgent IT support.
  • Understanding of cybersecurity best practices and threat management.
  • Prior experience in a luxury retail context.
