Position Overview

The Installation and Service Technician at Safe Fleet will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of Safe Fleet equipment and other related mobile products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Travel to customer locations to install a variety of Safe Fleet equipment, including computers, displays, cameras, sensors, and readers.
  • Ensure that new units are fully operational and conduct final testing to confirm readiness for deployment.
  • Identify system issues, repair or replace defective components, and reprogram equipment as necessary.
  • Provide training and support to customers and fellow technicians.

Competitive Salary: $50,000-60,000 per year

Qualifications

  • MECP Basic Installation Technician Certification or Electronics Engineering Technician Diploma.
  • At least one year of experience in mobile installations, preferably with class 7 and 8 vehicles.
  • Strong understanding of vehicle electrical systems and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Proficient in computer and networking skills.
  • Experience with access point setup is preferred.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across regions.
  • Flexibility to work non-standard shifts and weekends as required.
  • Ability to safely use various hand tools.
