Job Title: Director of Application Development and Business Intelligence

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a dynamic team of 9 talented application developers and business intelligence specialists.
  • Shape the future of advancement and alumni relations systems, ensuring they align with our strategic vision and fundraising priorities.
  • Enhance our operations, foster data-driven decision-making, and strengthen our connections across the University.
  • Manage priorities and oversee software application and CRM reporting projects.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for reporting and data analysis projects.
Requirements

This position typically requires a Bachelor's Degree or higher and 10+ years of relevant experience, including 3+ years of supervisory experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

The successful candidate will also have:

  • Proven leadership experience in managing application development projects.
  • A dedication to and understanding of the skills required to build relationships with diverse communities.
  • Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
  • Experience working with technology implementations in Higher Education or a similar complex environment.
  • Experience in exploring stakeholders' needs and guiding the innovative design and implementation of data structures and reporting to answer complex questions.
  • Familiarity with relational database development and programming.
  • Experience with business intelligence tools and reporting systems.
  • Excellent communication skills and a passion for driving positive change.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce CRM development, administration, and reporting is preferred.
