Flight Physician Specialist

REVA, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Flight Physician to join our team. As a Flight Physician, you will be responsible for evaluating, coordinating, and delivering medical care to patients during air transport. You will work closely with other transport team members to ensure the highest level of patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and coordinate medical care for patients during air transport
- Work with transport team members to ensure seamless patient care
- Participate in pre-flight debriefing and post-flight documentation
- Ensure adherence to established policies, procedures, and protocols
- Collaborate with medical crew to obtain necessary documentation and signatures
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, Anesthesiology, or Trauma Surgical care
- Ability to understand and adhere to established policies, procedures, and protocols
- Demonstrated competence in reacting to and handling emergencies
- Able to work collaboratively with multiple health professionals in a busy and complex environment
Physical Requirements:
- Frequent walking and standing for prolonged periods
- Lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds
- Transfer/position patients of all ages and physical conditions
Work Environment:
- Possible exposure to blood-borne and airborne pathogens or infectious materials
- Exposure to dynamic cultural diversity
- Long transport times in the confined space of the aircraft
