Sunnyview Rehabilitation Hospital, a member of Trinity Health, is seeking a full-time Brain Injury Medicine Specialist. This position is located in Upstate, New York, and offers a unique opportunity to work in a CARF accredited 115-bed not-for-profit freestanding acute rehabilitation hospital with specialty areas in brain injury, stroke, amputee, spinal cord, cardiopulmonary, and orthopedic rehabilitation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient services to the region.
  • Work in a dedicated 31-bed brain injury unit shared with a fellowship trained brain injury physician.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care.
  • Participate in resident teaching and training opportunities.
  • Utilize innovative technology, including REWALK, EKSO, RT300, XCITE, and BURT, to enhance patient outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Board Certified/Eligible in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation.
  • Fellowship training in Brain Injury Medicine preferred.
  • New or recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • NYS license and DEA required.
