Job Summary

MV Transportation is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Dispatcher to join our team. As a Dispatcher, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our transportation services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Route Management: Direct the day-to-day route operations and report to the Operations Manager.
  • Communication: Daily communication and interaction with drivers and clients to ensure timely and safe transportation services.
  • Operations Support: Organize and conduct activities to assure safe, cost-effective, on-time operating performance.
  • Reporting: Track and report sign-in/sign-out times, assure routes are timely, and communicate service issues to the Operations Managers as appropriate.
  • Safety and Security: Promote and execute our safety program under the supervision of the Safety Manager.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to drivers, passengers, and clients.
  • Administrative Tasks: Complete required operational reports on time and report them to the Operations Manager and others as designated.
  • Software Proficiency: Experience with ParaPlan software or ability to learn software proficiently.
Requirements
  • Experience: One (1) year previous Dispatcher experience preferred.
  • Customer Service: Two (2) years of Customer Service experience is preferred.
  • Availability: Ability to work shifts on all hours of operation on all days of the year we are open.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to communicate clearly, effectively, and efficiently with Management, staff, client, and with the public.
  • Geographic Knowledge: Extensive geographic knowledge of the area.
  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Software Skills: Intermediate or expert knowledge in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
