Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Corporate and Foundation Giving Manager to join our team at AARP. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of donors and prospective donors assigned within their respective donor/prospect pool or fundraising channel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the fundraising process, including identification, qualification, cultivation, solicitation, systems/processing, and stewardship
  • Participate in the effort to establish an effective case for support (value proposition) and provide feedback on how it resonates with assigned prospective donor pools
  • Manage appropriate resources and processes to ensure personal and departmental success in meeting organizational and personal objectives and goals
  • Achieve fundraising goals and expectations as defined
  • Perform duties in full compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and board policies pertaining to gifts, contributions, grants, and other charitable support raised
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5+ years of fundraising experience, cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding corporate and foundation institutional funders
  • Strong ability to manage all aspects of the fundraising process
  • Regular and reliable job attendance
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Exhibit respect and understanding of others to maintain professional relationships
  • Independent judgement in evaluation options to make sound decisions
