Early Childhood Psychologist

Southwest Human Development is a leading nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering young children and their families through comprehensive services and support. As an Early Childhood Psychologist, you will play a vital role in promoting healthy development and well-being in children from birth to 5 years old.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct transdisciplinary team assessments to identify developmental delays and disabilities
- Administer and interpret psychological and developmental tools, with a focus on autism spectrum disorder evaluations
- Collaborate with team members to develop comprehensive treatment plans that address the unique needs of each child and family
- Counsel families on assessment findings and provide guidance on connecting with community services
- Doctorate degree in Clinical or School Psychology
- Licensed Psychologist in the state of Arizona
- Postdoctoral experience in evaluations with children birth to 5 years old
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a transdisciplinary team
- Experience with relationship-based approaches to treatment and assessment
- Competency in using the Bayley Scales of Infant Development, Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS), and Wechsler Scales
- Knowledge of trauma-informed care and experience working with young children with Autism
- Make a meaningful impact in the lives of children and families
