HR Manager Job Description

We are seeking an experienced HR Manager to join our team at Standard Care, LLC. in Bangor, Maine. As an HR Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the human resources function, including recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, and payroll.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Recruitment: Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract top talent and fill job openings.
  • Employee Relations: Partner with senior leaders to resolve employee relations issues and provide guidance on HR policies and procedures.
  • Benefits Administration: Oversee the administration of employee benefits, including health, dental, and vision insurance.
  • Payroll: Process bi-weekly payroll and ensure accuracy and compliance with laws and regulations.
  • HR Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, including labor laws, employment laws, and health and safety regulations.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma required; Bachelor's Degree in related field preferred.
  • 5+ years' experience in human resources required.
  • Extensive knowledge of municipal, state, and federal HR laws, rules, regulations, and procedures required.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
Benefits:
  • Pay in the range of: $95,000 - $105,000
  • 6 paid holidays, 20 days of PTO
