**Job Title:** Family Services Administrative Support
Join our team as a Family Services Administrative Support professional at Homes for the Homeless in the Williamsbridge area of the Bronx. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our Family Services department.
About Us:
Homes for the Homeless operates shelters for families experiencing homelessness in NYC. Our family residences provide more than just a place to sleep; families can access various onsite programs and services.
Responsibilities:
- Greet clients in Family Services
- Redirect calls to Family Services staff
- Create passes and residency letters for clients
- Upload inspection forms in CARES in a timely manner
- File documentation in clients' records
- Guide ineligible status clients to get reinstated in CARES
- Assist the Director of Family Services with department daily operations
Qualifications:
- Satisfactory combination of experience and education
- Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office applications preferred
- Ability to prioritize assignments and handle multiple tasks with strong organization and time management skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Bilingual is a plus
Salary: $34,000 per year
