**Job Title:** Family Services Administrative Support

Join our team as a Family Services Administrative Support professional at Homes for the Homeless in the Williamsbridge area of the Bronx. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our Family Services department.

About Us:

Homes for the Homeless operates shelters for families experiencing homelessness in NYC. Our family residences provide more than just a place to sleep; families can access various onsite programs and services.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet clients in Family Services
  • Redirect calls to Family Services staff
  • Create passes and residency letters for clients
  • Upload inspection forms in CARES in a timely manner
  • File documentation in clients' records
  • Guide ineligible status clients to get reinstated in CARES
  • Assist the Director of Family Services with department daily operations

Qualifications:

  • Satisfactory combination of experience and education
  • Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office applications preferred
  • Ability to prioritize assignments and handle multiple tasks with strong organization and time management skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Bilingual is a plus

Salary: $34,000 per year
