Role Overview

As the Chief Technology Officer for EMEA at Estates at Acqualina, you will play a pivotal role in advising IT and Security leaders as they strive to create secure and efficient online experiences for their clientele. You will serve as a technology and business consultant, guiding clients toward strategic decisions that will shape their operational frameworks.

In this position, you will also act as a public representative, showcasing our organization at industry conferences, media events, analyst discussions, and other significant gatherings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Stay informed about the latest technological and security trends, sharing insights with executives and providing recommendations to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with executives through both digital and in-person interactions, leveraging your professional network to promote Estates at Acqualina.
  • Play a vital role in launching our latest innovations through various channels, including traditional media, social platforms, and analyst engagements.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to key clients, offering executive-level support and collaborating with regional leadership to develop and implement growth strategies.
  • Be prepared to travel as necessary, immersing yourself in the daily challenges and opportunities faced by clients, and conveying their feedback to our product and engineering teams.
  • Develop strong, strategic partnerships with senior leaders, becoming an essential ally in driving technology adoption and achieving business objectives.
  • Contribute to critical business functions, including performance reviews, pipeline development, and facilitating deal closures.

Desired Qualifications

  • Proven experience as an IT executive (e.g., VP, CIO, CTO, CISO).
  • A minimum of 10 years in enterprise IT, startups, software development, cloud services, cybersecurity, or related fields.
  • Expertise in cybersecurity operations and IT risk management, with knowledge of relevant local and regional regulations.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based IT delivery models and experience guiding clients through digital transformations.
  • A forward-thinking mindset with recognition as a cybersecurity authority in the region.
  • A strong digital presence and influence in social media.
  • Experience in client-facing roles, effectively communicating strategic concepts to clients on their digital transformation journeys.
  • Exceptional communication skills, capable of articulating complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • A thought leader in creating impactful technical content, engaging senior executives with in-depth discussions on technical solutions.
  • A dynamic speaker with a history of captivating audiences at major industry events.
  • Fluency in English and an additional relevant language for effective communication with diverse audiences.
