POSITION OVERVIEW

We are in search of a Filling Line Lead who will be integral to our production team. This position demands an individual who is proactive and can effectively manage daily operational tasks. The ideal candidate will possess a thorough understanding of the production environment, supported by relevant experience, manufacturing qualifications, and specialized training. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities are crucial, along with a solid grasp of standard operating procedures and the capability to implement Good Manufacturing Practices. This role operates on a third shift schedule.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Filling Line Lead, your duties will encompass:

Achieving daily and weekly production targets within the designated work area. Leading and coordinating work teams effectively. Organizing daily task rotations. Exhibiting self-motivation and initiative. Supporting the training and development of new and temporary staff. Adapting to evolving production schedules and workforce configurations. Assisting the Production Supervisor with performance evaluations. Communicating production delays to various levels of management. Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and operational standards. Engaging in cross-functional problem-solving initiatives.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education

A High School diploma or GED is essential, while an Associate degree is preferred but not mandatory.

Experience

A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in operations, setup, or maintenance is required.

Skills/Competencies

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal abilities. Mechanical proficiency. Willingness to work overtime or off-hours as needed. Capability to collaborate with Quality, Materials, Distribution, and Engineering teams. Advanced computer skills. Proficiency in reading and following Standard Operating Procedures and training documentation. Ability to complete necessary paperwork accurately. Basic mathematical skills. Logical communication skills. Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices.

This position reports to the Production Supervisor and collaborates closely with Quality Assurance and all production supervisors. The majority of work occurs in a controlled production environment under aseptic conditions, involving the lifting of heavy materials and operating various material handling equipment.
