Location: Dallas

Work Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM

Compensation: $18.50 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist visitors, clients, and staff as they arrive, ensuring they are directed to the correct individual or department.
  • Manage incoming phone calls, take messages, and route calls to the relevant personnel or departments.
  • Organize and confirm appointments, meetings, and events for staff or clients, while maintaining updated calendars.
  • Receive and distribute mail, faxes, and packages, and draft routine correspondence as needed.
  • Maintain visitor logs, employee attendance records, and other essential administrative documentation.
  • Provide general information regarding the organization, its services, and policies, while addressing inquiries.
  • Assist with basic administrative duties such as data entry, filing, and inventory management of office supplies.
  • Ensure compliance with visitor sign-in protocols and uphold a secure environment by monitoring building access.
  • In certain contexts, receptionists may handle payments or manage financial transactions.
  • Resolve minor issues or complaints, ensuring a positive experience for all visitors and clients.
  • Collaborate with various departments and staff to facilitate smooth operations and effective workflow.
  • Keep the front desk and lobby area clean and organized.
  • Perform additional assigned tasks as required.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Strong communication skills with both patients and colleagues.
  • Capability to multitask and accurately manage appointment scheduling.
  • Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
