Job Responsibilities
  • Respond promptly and compassionately to crisis situations, providing immediate support.
  • Evaluate the urgency of crises and coordinate with emergency services to ensure safety.
  • Connect individuals with essential resources, including mental health professionals and community services.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create integrated care plans and safety strategies.
  • Implement crisis stabilization techniques and evidence-based interventions tailored to individual needs.
  • Participate in training for crisis prevention and intervention, responding to behavioral health emergencies as required.
  • Maintain accurate documentation for clinical accountability and compliance.
  • Engage in reflective supervision and ongoing professional development.
  • Support clients in their daily activities and foster positive relationships.
  • Develop individualized service plans with clear goals and action steps.
  • Submit progress reports to relevant agencies and maintain communication.
  • Stay informed about community resources and services.
  • Uphold confidentiality and ethical standards in all interactions.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with external partners and organizations.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • Experience in crisis intervention or a related field is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to remain composed and focused in high-pressure situations.
  • Empathy and a strong desire to assist others.
  • Familiarity with mental health resources and crisis intervention techniques.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Understanding of confidentiality regulations and ethical standards.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong conflict resolution abilities.
  • Commitment to diversity and cultural awareness.
