ROLE SUMMARY:

This position encompasses a diverse range of responsibilities integral to the Human Resource Business Partner function, including but not limited to recruitment, employee relations, engagement, and talent management. The role also involves contributing to our data governance and quality initiatives through our primary HR system, ADP. A strong focus on customer service is paramount in this position.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Collaborate with business units to enhance talent strategies, including succession planning, staffing optimization, organizational structure, diversity, equity, inclusion, and employee engagement initiatives.

2. Possess experience in Human Resource data quality and management, partnering with the HR Operations team to establish data governance, quality, and security protocols to enhance data accuracy across all HR systems.

3. Address the training and development needs of the bank by designing and facilitating programs aimed at improving skills such as technology optimization, innovation, leadership, time management, project management, problem-solving, and data utilization. Establish success metrics to ensure desired outcomes are achieved and validate training effectiveness through ongoing performance monitoring.

4. Demonstrate recruitment expertise, including candidate pipeline strategies, applicant tracking, manager engagement, employment branding, diversity initiatives, college outreach, direct sourcing, candidate assessments, interview methodologies, compensation guidelines, and backend operations knowledge. Preference will be given to candidates skilled in Boolean search techniques, passive recruitment, and candidate funnel projections.

5. Consult with management at all levels regarding compliance with federal and state employment laws, including but not limited to FMLA, PFML, ADA, AA, EEO, discrimination, harassment, wage and hour regulations, ERISA, and Title VII. Conduct investigations to identify root causes and recommend appropriate actions.

6. Navigate daily tasks within Human Resource Operations to ensure payroll, recruitment, and leave data quality and efficiency are consistently maintained.

7. Foster the ongoing development of a performance management culture by assisting managers in formulating measurable and achievable goals and objectives, as well as monitoring the success of these initiatives.

8. Build value-driven, consultative relationships with leadership to ensure business units possess the necessary capacity to meet organizational goals and objectives.

QUALIFICATIONS:

A Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Human Resource Management, Data Management, or Business Management, or an equivalent qualification. A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a Human Resource Generalist or Business Partner role, along with 2-4 years of data analysis experience. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with moderate to advanced proficiency in Excel. Experience in end-to-end training design, development, and facilitation is essential. Familiarity with various state and federal employment laws (FLSA, EEO, FMLA, PFML, Affirmative Action Planning, Pay Equity, Wrongful Termination, Retaliation, etc.) is required.

Experience in community banking or financial services is advantageous. A proven track record of relationship building and follow-through is essential. The ability to prioritize multiple, sometimes competing objectives while maintaining high-quality performance supported by strong organizational skills is necessary. Demonstrated capacity to handle sensitive and confidential matters with professionalism is required.
