Your Responsibilities

In this role, you will be tasked with promoting Johnson Controls' service offerings to key stakeholders, primarily at the Director level. You will advocate for the value of our solutions by delivering technical insights and operational guidance. Building and nurturing long-term relationships with clients is essential, ensuring their satisfaction and loyalty. You will position renewable service agreements as a cornerstone of these partnerships, executing a sales strategy that fosters lasting connections while identifying and closing new business opportunities.

Your Approach

  • With guidance from your manager, you will effectively communicate and sell Johnson Controls' offerings to building owners, focusing on achieving optimal profit margins.
  • Your efforts will center on enhancing existing facilities to help owners meet their business goals.
  • You will manage ongoing opportunities, particularly in selling services and upgrades.
  • You will sell, renew, and expand renewable service agreements, including multi-year contracts, to both new and existing clients.
  • Establishing collaborative relationships with decision-makers is key to driving sales of our service offerings.
  • You will actively listen to clients, identify their concerns, and provide tailored solutions.
  • Understanding the client's business is crucial, allowing you to communicate effectively in their terms.

Qualifications We Seek

  • A Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field is required.
  • A minimum of six (6) years of progressive experience in field sales is essential.
  • At least one year of successful experience in selling HVAC or building automation services or projects is necessary.
  • A strong commitment to integrity and quality in business practices is expected.
  • Excellent initiative and interpersonal communication skills are required.
  • Proven ability to influence key decision-makers within accounts is essential.
