Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Meat Production Specialist to join our team at Country Fresh Meats. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of our meat products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Production Operations: Follow daily production schedules and achieve specified goals, adding ingredients to batches and verifying against formulations in the blending system.
  • Meat Handling: Move meat into machines and/or combos and/or v-mags using appropriate tools and techniques, loading meat racks and pushing meat trucks from one area to another, visually monitoring meat for quality.
  • Quality Control: Maintain accurate records, wash and sanitize carts, racks, and trucks, and prevent and minimize rework and/or inedibles.
  • Documentation: Accurately complete all necessary paperwork and maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.
  • Inventory Management: Ensure products are correctly labeled and identified for proper disposition, and keep record of products used to follow FIFO (first in, first out).
Requirements
  • Dependability: Must be dependable and able to work scheduled shifts.
  • Physical Demands: Must be able to frequently lift up to 50# and work in refrigerated environments.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Must be able to follow company safety and GMP's, and work independently without direct supervision.
