Your Opportunity:


As a Technical Application Specialist, you will provide technical support to internal and external customers, develop and present application training programs, and assist with product selection and application.

The position requires a basic understanding of the sales channel and rep network.

Key Responsibilities:


Provide technical support via phone and email to internal and external sales teams on product selection and application.

Develop and communicate solutions for basic product applications under direct supervision.
Gather information and provide resolution to complex field problems, including travel for onsite support.
Understand and interpret industry codes and standards to determine product needs and requirements.

Assist with highlighting key selling points of our current products for delivery to sales teams and customers.

Identify opportunities for process improvement and work to implement where applicable.
Become familiar with competitor products and apply this knowledge to the company's advantage.
Organize and present trainings to internal and external customers, both onsite and offsite.
May assist with offsite events, including planning, setup, and basic customer interactions.
Develop awareness of industry-related associations and their purpose.
May provide mentoring, training, or indirect supervision of other team members, or have direct reports.
Manage basic individual projects in accordance with predetermined completion dates.
Document service calls to record data on product questions and field issues.

Requirements:
0-2 years of relevant work experience in engineering.
4-year / bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
