Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Manager to join our team at Cornerstone Building Brands. As a key member of our Plant Leadership Team, you will be responsible for planning and directing plant operations, ensuring the efficient production of high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demands and ensure timely delivery of products.
  • Lead and manage a team of production staff, providing guidance and support to ensure they have the necessary skills and resources to perform their duties effectively.
  • Monitor and control production costs, identifying areas for improvement and implementing cost-saving initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Quality Control, Engineering, and Maintenance, to ensure the smooth operation of the plant and the delivery of high-quality products.
  • Develop and maintain a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging innovation and process improvements throughout the organization.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, including OSHA and ISO 9000.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records and reports, providing regular updates to management and stakeholders.
Requirements
  • High school degree or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of supervisory and production management experience, with a proven track record of success in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and quality.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and procedures, with experience in Lean Manufacturing principles and practices.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business, engineering, or manufacturing.
  • 8+ years of supervisory and production management experience, with a proven track record of success in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in managing a multicultural workforce, with a strong focus on diversity and inclusion.
  • Knowledge of Six Sigma and Quality Management Systems, with experience in implementing and maintaining these systems.
