Production Director

Job Summary:

Production Manager

Sika is seeking a highly skilled Production Manager to lead our production department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and controlling production to ensure that goods are produced efficiently, on time, within budget, and to standard.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement production schedules and duty assignments to meet profitable production goals and quality standards.
• Lead continuous improvement programs and manufacturing process improvements by applying appropriate processes and problem-solving tools.
• Inspect machines and equipment to ensure specific operational performance and optimum utilization.
• Stay up-to-date with new technology that can be used in the production process.
• Provide input in establishing production and quality control standards.
• Lead the coordination and execution of production trials, process improvement projects through team project management.
• Implement and use KPIs to assess, analyze, and track manufacturing process as it relates to goals and objectives.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in engineering, chemical, or other related degree preferred or 5+ years progressive experience in a key leadership/management role at a manufacturing facility with technical aptitude and analytical skills.
• Strong solid computer skills including the ability to prepare spreadsheets and use Microsoft Office Products.
• Written and Verbal Communication Skills.
• Strong organizational and planning abilities.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of health and safety standards and compliance.
