We are seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to uphold the stringent quality standards within our Subsea business unit located in Northwest Houston.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate root cause analysis alongside quality inspectors to tackle shop quality issues.
  • Document, investigate, and resolve Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) for all discrepancies.
  • Possess extensive knowledge of inspection methodologies and standards.
  • Analyze customer Purchase Order (PO) requirements and initiate requests as necessary.
  • Conduct project kick-off meetings with customers and shop personnel.
  • Oversee the closure of job packets post-manufacturing and review documentation for accuracy following fabrication and machining.
  • Coordinate final assembly and testing protocols, submitting relevant data to the Documentation Department.
  • Ensure data books are complete prior to customer shipment.
  • Maintain a calibration log for accuracy and manage external calibration testing as required.
  • Oversee inventory levels for Non-Destructive Examination (NDE) consumables.
  • Lead investigations into customer complaints regarding quality matters.
  • Conduct internal quality audits and supplier quality assessments.
  • Communicate quality policies, standards, and requirements to internal stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
  • Experience in a Subsea environment is highly desirable.
  • Promote awareness of customer requirements across the organization, ensuring adherence to quality policies and standards.
